Thank you, James M., Niles, MI for your review of Good Anuff Pub in Niles, MI.
And...

Thank you, Jake H., Niles, MI for your review of Good Anuff Pub in Niles, MI.
It is the year 2026. Have we learned nothing about supporting women? Especially women in small businesses? It does sound like the quality of this place has gone down significantly, but geez, you guys! Way to kick a woman while she's down. Both of you have acknowledged the likely cause of the diminishing integrity of this establishment, and it is that her husband/business partner/person who ran the business DIED.
Maybe she's a grief-stricken widow whose husband was her entire reason for living. Maybe she murdered him, buried him in the backyard, and is spending the rest of her days running his reason for living (the bar) into the ground. Or maybe he died suddenly, and she finds herself drowning in the enormous weight of taking on 50% more work when her true passion in life was making a nice meal.
James M., you said you've been going here for 12 years. Did you think to ask her how she's doing?! Doesn't sound like it. Instead, you've resorted to writing a crappy review on Yelp. That's shitty, my friend. And do you think by being weirdly specific, "the bun was only 12% the size of the tenderloin," we're going to take your complaints more seriously?
And you, Jake H. The potluck idea for the family at a family-owned business actually sounds like a nice morale booster for the employees. Do you work there? I didn't think so. Why would you be included? The name of the pub is Good Anuff, which, apparently, it isn't for you anymore, so simply don't go there.
Recently, an Instagrammer I follow got trolled for posting something controversial - it was about basic human rights, but the world is backwards right now. Someone announced in a comment that they would now be unfollowing her, to which she replied, "This isn't an airport. No need to announce your departure." And I will leave you with that.
One out of five stars to both of you. Go check on Stacy.
See you next Tuesday.
