(Not So) Secret Menu

Thank you, Bobby W., Montgomery, AL, for your review of The Love Shack, an American restaurant and bar in Montgomery, AL. 

This is a gray area in terms of reviews. My initial instinct is to say that perhaps the restaurant isn’t responsible for the quality of cocaine you’re purchasing from their establishment. On the other hand, do I think one is justified in reviewing the secret menu at places like In-N-Out Burgers? Yes. 

Regardless of how or why we know of these additional menu items, if they are consistently offered at that location, who’s to say they shouldn’t be reviewable? If only Anthony Bourdain were still alive, I bet he’d have some thoughts on this (which I’d love to hear).

In that vein, if I were in the market for real cocaine, I would find this review very helpful. It's disappointing to order an Angus beef cheeseburger only to realize they used an Impossible patty, even if it takes you a minute to notice. Maybe it was a simple mistake?

I am still my mother’s daughter, I have to try things three times before deciding whether or not I like them; I would probably go back. Your two stars (rather than one) give me hope. 

So, two out of five stars for you.
