Thank you, Miranda P., Jonesboro, AR for your review of Tracey's Original Irish Channel Bar in New Orleans, LA.

Before I say anything, I'd like us all to watch a video my friend recently sent me, which perfectly encapsulates how I feel about reviews in general:

"You got nothing going on with your life?"

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Though let me tell you a quick story.

I recently went to a mom-and-pop bookshop in a trendy part of town. I'd been there before, but this was my first purchase. The store was almost completely empty, and when I went to pay, the cashier was so rude in the most hipster-bullshit way that I nearly changed my mind and put the book back. It was as if I was personally offending him by making him do his job for two seconds. And do you know what I did after that?

Nothing.

Well, not entirely nothing, I joked about it to the friend I was with and made a mental note to never shop there again, but then I carried on with my life. Even more recently, I saw someone I know wearing a baseball cap from this store, and I still said nothing. And I'm doing okay! Living proof that it is possible to just carry on with your life!

[Let it be noted, the only reason I'm bringing it up here is to make a point]

I've been sitting on your review, Miranda P., for quite some time, trying to figure out exactly how to explain what pisses me off about it. Turns out, I needed to bring a professional, in this case, Sebastian Maniscalco, to help me out.

Your review is especially infuriating because... YOU DIDN'T EVEN EAT THERE (I hope you read that as yelling because I was). Just get the f*ck out of there and go somewhere else, it's not like New Orleans has a shortage of restaurants.

One out of five stars.

See you next Tuesday.
