Thank you, Cheryl Nulik, for your review of Supercuts in Pasadena, CA.

People should have to sign a waiver at the salon when they ask for bangs, agreeing to take full responsibility for how they turn out. Obviously, there are different levels of skill amongst hairdressers, but bangs are not for everyone. In fact, they're not for most people, and the decision to get bangs is usually made when mentally unstable. I would argue that adopting a dog is less of a commitment than getting bangs, and I will not be explaining this further.

If you haven't already watched Fleabag on Amazon Prime, run, don't walk to your television! For now, please take a moment to watch this scene from its second season. It does a lot of the work for me.

Hair is everything, but so is taking responsibility for your own choices. Like Antony says, "If you want to change your life, change your life." Lucky, hair grows back, so in the next 6-8 months, you should be good to go.

All of this to say, I found this review to be pretty darn funny. I'm not a huge fan of calling people out by name unless they actively tried to cause you harm, but maybe Julia could use some work. My favorite part of your review is your Aunt, who, unlike Fleabag, did not lie. We need more people like this in our lives. Your Aunt is the kind of person who would tell you if you had something in your teeth, and that is the number one test of a true friend (I also will not be explaining this further.)

Mostly, I appreciate that this wasn't written in a fit of rage. You sound appropriately disappointed. Good on ya, Cheryl. I believe you recognize that little Dutch boy haircuts only work on models and me as a child.

Life is unfair in many ways.

Four out of five stars.

See you next Tuesday.
