Thank you, Katie R., Stoughton, WI for your review of the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.

And:

Thank you, Sunny (ethel cain's version) for your review of Carrie by Stephen King.

And:

Thank you, Violet T., Los Angeles, CA for your review of Cafe Gratitude in Los Angeles, CA.

If it’s not already clear, there is a common theme here. You’ve all chosen to review something you knew you didn’t like and continue not to like. As I often say about these reviews, what a waste of time. That’s not helpful at all.

What would be helpful is if the thing you chose to review was something you went into not liking and, due to the quality of the experience/place/thing, your mind was changed and you share that experience. By stating that you don’t like something going into it, you’re setting yourself up for the exact same result. Pointless.

One to two times a year I try oatmeal for breakfast despite knowing that I absolutely hate it, and every time I... guess what? Hate it. But, I'm not going to go online and write a review about it.

Katie R., if you don’t like shopping, don’t go to the biggest mall in America, that’s its purpose.

Sunny, if you don’t like Stephen King, don’t read him. There are a trillion incredible books in the world. No one is asking you to do this so, don’t be a martyr.

Violet T., if you don’t like vegan food, don’t go to a vegan restaurant. Especially one like Cafe Gratitude. It is accidentally vegan at best. Just because they serve things like kelp - a weed from the sea that happens to not be derived from an animal - doesn’t mean it’s vegan cuisine. Also, the joke that everyone in LA is a vegan is tired and pretty inaccurate. According to my extremely brief Google search, there are 2060 burger places in Los Angeles compared to 408 vegan restaurants. Fast food was practically invented there. You do the math.

You each get one star because that’s all you deserve.

God you guys are annoying.

See you next Tuesday.
